Delicious fruit flans, pies, coffee and more. Smiling eager staff. We order all our staff birthday cakes from them. The fruit flans I think have been voted the favourite amongst the crew at R&W Mosman!

We ordered two wonderful desserts, they were fresh and very tasty. The person who helped us though did seem to be in a questionable mood, possibly having a bad day.

'Le Breton' must be feeling the pinch since the opening of 'St Honore Sourdough Bakery' just down the road from them and I have long predicted their demise but to my continued surprise, they're still churning out delicious French fancies crafted by an actual French man (I haven't seen his passport but he does a bloody good accent if he isn't and anyway he looks French).

The smell of croissants from this tiny, if tatty, shop plagues me regularly and unfortunately they taste as good as they smell. They bake all the usual patisserie suspects and some seriously spectacular looking cakes for special occasions, Well worth popping in there if you have a birthday coming up.

I confess I don't go here more often because the coffee at St Honore is such a draw card for me and the lady who works at Le Breton acts like an extra from 'Allo 'Allo with less emphasis on the WWII cheer alas...though she's delightful to my father-in-law so it's worth taking the risk.
